Yuri Gagarin

Yuri Gagarin (9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968) was a Russian-Soviet pilot and cosmonaut. He was the first human to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961. He was awarded many medals and titles, including Hero of the Soviet Union. Born Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin in Klushino, near Gzhatsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. (d. 1968)

Joyce Van Patten (born March 9, 1934) is an American stage, film and television actress, best known for the wry, astringent and neurotic characters she portrays. She was a member of the original cast of As the World Turns. Born Joyce Benignia Van Patten in New York City.
