Siouxsie Sioux (born Susan Janet Ballion; May 27, 1957) is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for her work as the lead singer of the rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees (1976–1996) and of its splinter group The Creatures (1981–2005). She has also sung with artists such as Morrissey and John Cale. In 2004, she began a solo career.
