Jeffrey Leon “Jeff” Bridges (born December 4, 1949) is an American actor and musician. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 82nd Academy Awards for his role as “Bad Blake” in the 2009 movie Crazy Heart. He comes from a well-known acting family, and worked as a child with his father Lloyd Bridges and brother Beau on television’s Sea Hunt. Some of his best known movies include Tron, Fearless, Iron Man, The Contender, Starman, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Jagged Edge, The Fisher King, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Seabiscuit, Tron: Legacy and The Big Lebowski. Bridges earned his sixth Academy Award nomination and fourth Golden Globe for his portrayal of Rooster Cogburn in 2010’s True Grit.
Pamela Helen Stephenson Connolly (born 4 December 1949) is a New Zealand clinical psychologist and writer best known for her work as an actress and comedian during the 1980s. She has written several books, which include a biography of her husband Billy Connolly. Probably her most widely recognized television role was in the classic 1980s UK comedy television sketch show Not The Nine O’Clock News.
