Carol Lynley (born February 13, 1942) is an American actress and former child model. Early on, she distinguished herself in both the Broadway stage and Hollywood screen versions of the controversial drama Blue Denim (1959). In 1959, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for “Most Promising Newcomer – Female”. Lynley may be best known for her film roles in Return to Peyton Place, Bunny Lake is Missing, Harlow and the original The Poseidon Adventure.
